Circular Economy Action Plans

Production" action line: to promote the design/redesign of processes and products to optimise the use of non-renewable natural resources in production, encouraging the incorporation of secondary raw materials and recycled materials and minimising the incorporation of harmful substances, with a view to obtaining products that are more easily recyclable and repairable, shifting the economy towards more sustainable and efficient modes.

Consumption" action line: to reduce the ecological footprint by changing consumption patterns towards more responsible consumption, avoiding waste and non-renewable raw materials.

Action Line "Waste Management": to effectively implement the waste hierarchy principle, substantially favouring waste prevention (reduction), preparing for re-use and recycling of waste.

Secondary raw materials" action line: to ensure the protection of the environment and human health by reducing the use of non-renewable natural resources and reintroducing the materials contained in waste as secondary raw materials into the production cycle.

Line of action "Water reuse and purification": to promote an efficient use of water resources, making it possible to reconcile the protection of the quality and quantity of water bodies with a sustainable and innovative use of water.

Line of action "Research, innovation and competitiveness": to promote the development and application of water resources.
